SK&T is Founded
With only $300 in her checking account and an abundance of grit, Kathy Lawson launches SK&T as a bootstrapped startup from the basement of her home. The company name, SK&T, holds a special meaning: “S” represents Steve Lawson, Kathy’s husband; “K” stands for Kathy; and “T” honors her son, Travis.

SK&T solidifies key strategic partnerships with Zebra, Honeywell, and ScanSource.
SK&T teams up with SupplyPro to launch AIMS (Automated Inventory Management System), a custom-built cabinet that automates inventory management control of labels and supplies for Celestica Americas and Celestica Monterrey, Mexico.
